About Cath

Acupuncture, health and wellbeing

My interest in health and well-being has been greatly influenced by the holistic practices I encountered in South and East Asia. These experiences shaped my understanding of the connection between body and mind and inspired me to pursue a career dedicated to supporting others on their wellness journey.

I am a qualified Acupuncturist, awarded with a First-Class BSc Honours degree in Acupuncture from the internationally acclaimed College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, and I am a Level 3 Iyengar yoga teacher. Also a massage therapist, a reflexologist and a Reiki Master Teacher. I have over 20 years of experience treating people for numerous ailments and injuries and supporting them on their path to optimal health.

If you would like to discuss any aspect of my work or enquire about acupuncture treatment, yoga classes or one-to-one yoga sessions, please contact me.

My teaching journey

I discovered yoga as a photography student in 1988. Fascinated by its harmonising and healing qualities, I have been practising it ever since. In 2006 I qualified as an Iyengar yoga teacher and am now certified to Level 3, which equates to around 9 years of formal training.

I continue to study and learn from some of the most senior Iyengar yoga teachers, both in the UK and abroad, constantly furthering my knowledge.

I am an IY UK approved mentor for students who wish to train to teach Iyengar Yoga and I sit on the committee for South West London and Surrey Iyengar Yoga member group.

I teach in London – Ealing (W13), Barnes (SW14) and Putney (SW15).  A full list of my yoga classes can be found here
